The Gracchus brothers… They were great men, they fought for us plebeians, they exceeded in the military, what was there bad about them? If not for the tyranical senate that existed, then we could have gotten peace much sooner! The reforms that Tiberius tried to make were amazing. He saw the slaves working for Italy, and quickly realized the many problems existing in Rome. His enter to politics quickly changed Rome, and it would have made the changes permanent if not for his assassination
Gaius Gracchus was also a great man. Following in the footsteps of his brother, he became a soldier, and eventually went into politics. The ideal Roman! His reforms also changed much of Rome, he built programs that built better roads and harbors. This changed a lot in Rome, it increased the efficiency of trade overseas and on land, and also helped the business community of Rome become much easier. These changes have helped Rome on its path to freedom from the Latifundia. This inspired people, Caesar! Augustus! They saw these things because of the Gracchus brothers. Without the Gracchus brothers Rome would be much worse today. They are obviously heroes of Rome, no matter what the filthy senate said.
