The Roman Democracy… It was amazing! There were no more filthy kings, the power was split! It was an ingenious idea! It is definitely one of the best forms of government in Rome!

As for the Athenian democracy, it was Greek, which speaks for itself. Its idea was good, it split power with every man in Athens, which made the assembly. This assembly was interesting, unlike the Roman democracy, this one gave power to many more people, around 45,000 give or take, which could make many dissipate biased votes. However, in the Roman democracy we had many different levels of power, so biases could only come with bribing. The Athenian assembly met once per month, and discussed economy, politics, supplies, and important military discussions. They had lots of power, and could ostracize any citizen too dangerous for the Polis. The Roman democracy discussed different things, like power, politics, and important issues for Rome, which is much better than the Greeks ideas!

All in all, the Roman democracy is better, as is Rome! But the Athenian democracy seems to have been ok.
