This is a hands on interview with the first king of Rome, Romulus, Son of Mars!
Luminous: Hello Romulus! Welcome to the KS Roman Blog!
Romulus: Yes, thank you Luminous.
Luminous: Today I will be interviewing about your brother Remus, why did you kill him?
Romulus: Ah yes… Remus… To put it short, he was a nuisance. He insulted me as I built the wall that has protected Rome for many centuries, he insulted me as I picked the correct hill, and I could sense the increasing jealousy he had of me.
Luminous: Is the fact that you are both sons of the honorable Mars part of it?
Romulus: I would not say so. If I had not killed Remus, we would have eventually fought for Rome. There cannot be two dictators! I could feel the tension increase as I built the wall, and knowing how big of a joke Remus was, I decided to kill him.
Luminous: Interesting, do you Remus could have won if you two had fought later?
Romulus: He might have been able to, as he is of the blood of the gods as I am. However, this does not matter, whoever could beat the other is more fit to be the ruler of Rome, and is therefore the better Roman.
Luminous: Ok, thank you for your time.
